Order forms and more information about yearbooks will be coming home soon. Thanks Denise Palmer for heading up the planning of the layout of this years yearbook! Personal message space will be available in the yearbook, so look for the order form to come home as the yearbook planning progresses!

We need help from the parents contributing pictures to be included in the yearbook. If you have copies of photos of spirit days, events, assemblies etc please let us know! We shall collect these photos after holiday recess. These photos can be digital or printed copies but you will not receive your photo back, so make sure its not your only copy!!!

There is such a wonderful group of parent volunteers atCerraVista. It is truely one of the reasons Cerra Vista is such a great school! Spring is around the corner and the pto board is on the look out for potential board members for next year. Many of the board members have served for at least two years and now its time for fresh faces! Have you ever considered a postion on the pto? do you have questions about the postitions, time commitment, responsibilities etc? please contact one of the current board members to get more information, We are happy to answer any questions! If you think you might be interested in a position, let's chat..... the more time that is allowed for a smoother transition the more cv will benefit as a whole. if you don't know a board member personally please contact jennifers@cerravista.com to get answers to your questions and more information about being a pto bord member. Thanks everyone!!

RED RIBBON WEEK
The children were awesome! We saw some great spirit out there!!!
Ask your kids to fill in the blank...."I'd rather eat ______then do drugs" see if they remember!
A HUGE thank you goes out to the supporters of red ribbon week. They made an awesome contribution, which made it so much more fun for the kids.
Our appreciation goes out to....
California Department of Justice-Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, San Jose Regional Office.
Drug Enforcement Administration(DEA) San Jose Regional office.
as well as the Westphal Family for making these connections possible!!
Unfortunatly our assembly had to be rescheuled. But we shall work with Mike Robinson(DEA) to add this important assembly back onto the schedule in the upcoming months. More information will be added so that you can continue this topic of conversation at home with your kids.
